Tim Sturtevant

Tim Sturtevant is a consultant for the HR Technology Consulting (HRT) Practice of Gallagher's Human Resources and Compensation Consulting group. In this role, Tim helps employer organizations identify, choose and implement benefit administration platforms. Clients benefit from his strong financial acumen, which he uses to analyze business processes and financial status of market providers and products, thereby helping to ensure a best-fit solution.

Tim brings to this role experience in both the brokerage and provider sides of the business, including as a sales representative for a high-growth technology company offering cloud-based software for benefits administration, insurance exchanges and human capital management. As a producer for a large national brokerage firm, Tim strategized with mid and large-market employers to provide guidance on technology, Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance, wellbeing programs and other areas associated with the organization's people strategy.

Before and during his tenure at Gallagher, Tim has provided expert consulting on benefits administration technology for complex entities of varying sizes and industries. Project complexities include multiple employer trusts, multiple unions, retirees and Canadian benefits. As a consultant, he has undertaken a complete assessment of current client processes and suggested process improvements. As an extension of his role as a sourcing consultant, Tim also frequently serves as a sourcing project manager, leading client projects from the initial discovery phase through to a finalist decision.

Tim earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Radford University in Virginia.
