Renate Tiner

Renate Tiner's professional qualifications include more than 12 years of experience in human resources, primarily in classification and compensation. Starting in human resources administration and rising into human resources management, she gained experience in full-cycle recruitment, orientation and on-boarding, health and safety, Workers' Compensation, licensing and accreditation, policy development, and general human resources administration.

In recent years, Renate has worked in classification and compensation for a variety of cities, counties, special districts and authorities, developing and revising classification specifications and analyzing data for employee allocations. Her compensation experience includes internal job analysis, comparable agency job matching, comparator agency market analysis and developing recommendations and implementation strategies.

Renate earned her BS in psychology from the University of Northern British Columbia. She was a Canadian Human Resource Professional (CHRP) candidate before moving to the US. Renate came to Gallagher from Koff & Associates, a full spectrum human resource and recruiting services firm serving the public sector. Koff & Associates joined Gallagher in 2021.
