Nancy Arenas

Nancy Arenas is an Area Vice President with Gallagher's Human Resources and Compensation Consulting practice, where she services the Southern California region.

Nancy brings more than 20 years of Human Resources experience working in various corporate HR roles. She has worked in the Legal, Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C), Risk Management and Insurance industries. Nancy has built highly effective corporate infrastructure and has helped to formalize HR practices within growing organizations. She is adept at managing large-scale change management human resources projects that improve efficiencies and lay the foundation for a more engaged workforce. She is skilled in helping companies manage culture, engagement and compliance, and she is passionate about creating a more human workplace.

Prior to joining Gallagher, Nancy worked as an HR Consultant for Willis Towers Watson, supporting its Health Benefits Brokerage Advisory clients in various industries across the west coast region. She served as the Human Resources Director for a "Top Work Places" Pipeline Company in Southern California. Nancy also served as the HR Program Manager for an ENR Top 200 Engineering Firm in Southern California.

Nancy owned a business with 30 employees and 200 independent contractors across the U.S. serving insurance carriers in the property and casualty claims sector. Additionally, she has worked as a Paralegal for a global Intellectual Property firm based in Southern California.

Nancy holds a Master's in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Penn State, and a Bachelor's in Business from Brigham Young University. She completed a Paralegal Program through Utah Valley University.

Nancy is actively engaged in state and national HR professional affiliations, including serving on multiple committees and the Board of Directors for the San Diego Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
