President Biden announced the National Emergency Declaration and the Public Health Emergency Declaration — two declarations that have substantial impacts on employers — will end Thursday, May 11, 2023.
The end of the emergency declarations will require employers to take action in the coming months to transition their health plans to the post-COVID era and communicate those changes to participants.
