Nick Harris
Chief Executive Officer, UK & Ireland Retail
Nick is CEO of Gallagher’s UK & Ireland Retail division leading a team of over 4,000 colleagues based in offices across the UK & Ireland.
Nick joined Gallagher in 2024 from Marsh, where he was CEO of its Pacific division, a position he took up when the business purchased JLT in 2019. In this role, he led operations and trading in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Fiji, overseeing 2,500 employees.
As well as running the business at a time of record growth, he also led the teams during the integration into Marsh. Prior to this, Nick spent a number of years in a variety of c-suite roles for JLT in the Pacific region. Nick started his career working insurer-side before moving into broking in 1998. He is a graduate of Exeter University and INSEAD.
