Lady Louise-Patten

Lady Louise Patten is a Non-Executive Director of Arthur J. Gallagher Holdings (UK) Limited and Gallagher’s broking and underwriting businesses in the UK. She joined the board in 2016 and is Chair of the Remuneration Committee and a Member of the Audit, Risk and Nominations Committees.

Louise has a wealth of experience at large UK household brands having held non-executive roles at firms including Marks & Spencer, UK Asset Resolution, which combines the run-off mortgages of the former Northern Rock and Bradford & Bingley building societies, Somerfield, where she also was also Chairman, plus the Hilton Group and Harveys Furniture. Additional non-executive roles include property firm, Brixton plc and GUS plc, both listed in the FTSE 250.

She started her career at Citibank, before moving to Wells Fargo Bank, was a Partner at PA Consulting, and subsequently joined global strategy advisers Bain & Company Inc as a Senior Adviser.
