Trade Credit Insurance

The UK economy is looking more resilient1 than expected with 83% of businesses trading in April 20211 but the pandemic continues to have a significant impact with 13% of the UK workforce still on furlough. Trading conditions remain uncertain and although it is expected that we will see an increase in business confidence as we emerge from “lockdown”, there are still plenty of unknown factors particularly when Government support is withdrawn.

Join us for our webinar on Thursday 3 June 2021 at 10am, when our panel of specialists will consider the state of the market, and the withdrawal of the Government Reinsurance Scheme, which was introduced last year in recognition of the key role trade credit insurance plays in supporting the supply chain and facilitating trade.

The webinar will consider:

  • The economic outlook
  • The impact of the end of the Government Reinsurance Scheme on 30 June 2021
  • The state of the market – hard, soft or just uncertain?
  • The risk outlook
  • Q&A

Our panel includes:

  • Tim Fisher, Managing Director, Gallagher Trade Credit
  • Phil Prunty, Executive Director, Gallagher Trade Credit
  • Simon Philpin, Senior Underwriter & Head of Business Development – Trade Credit Markel
  • Colin Cunningham, National Sales Leader, Gallagher Trade Credit
