Nathan is responsible for heading up Gallagher’s 50-strong Ipswich team, as well as overseeing sales and development across the broker’s East of England offices in Hoddesdon, Chelmsford and Ipswich.
With 20 years’ insurance experience, Nathan joined Gallagher in 2012 in a business development role, before becoming regional sales director for the East region in 2015. Subsequently, Nathan was appointed to lead Gallagher’s former Ipswich Commercial office based on Foundation Street in 2017, before the branch merged with the Feering office, and became regional development and commercial director in 2018.
Nathan’s appointment sees former Ipswich managing director Paul Waldock take on the broader role of leading both the Chelmsford and Hoddesdon offices. Dominic Roe, managing director – Hospitality & Leisure, will continue to lead Gallagher’s Ipswich Corporate team.
Having had a presence in the town for over 40 years, Gallagher’s Ipswich branch, based on Museum Street since the start of 2019, looks after the insurance and risk management requirements for a broad range of business sectors, with specialisms including logistics, construction and professional services.
Gallagher has a sizeable presence in the East of England, with more than 100 insurance professionals across the region forming part of its 70-strong UK retail branch network.
