Our approach to ESG

Our ESG principles guide every aspect of our business. We are dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint, with a target of Net Zero by 2050 and a 50% reduction in carbon emissions per employee by 2030. Our social responsibility focuses on fostering an inclusive, supportive workplace and delivering value to the communities where we live and work. Strong governance is the core of our operations, ensuring we uphold the highest ethical standards while earning the trust of our clients, colleagues, and communities. Explore our ESG principles:

Environment

We aim to work hard to reduce our environmental footprint, making more conscious choices about how we run our operations and choose to travel. Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (Gallagher) has a goal of Net Zero (Scope 1 and Scope 2) by 2050 for its global operations. This goal allows us to track our progress in the UK. Further, in 2023, Gallagher set an interim goal of 50% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon emissions on a per-employee basis by 2030.

Social

Colleagues and communities are at the heart of The Gallagher Way and everything we do. We aspire to foster an inclusive culture where everyone can bring their whole selves to work and flourish in their careers.
