Angela McDermott

Angela McDermott serves as a managing director for the Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness team within Gallagher's Human Resources and Compensation Consulting practice. She leads the HR consulting and fractional HR business for clients nationally as well as internal operations and professional services teams.

Before joining Gallagher, Angela served as chief operating officer (COO) of OperationsInc (OI), an HR consulting firm Gallagher acquired in 2024. Before becoming COO, she held a progression of roles at OI, including vice president, director and manager of HR consulting, as well as HR generalist and compliance leader.

A seasoned HR professional, Angela contributed as an HR generalist at NASDAQ for more than two years and as an HR associate for Lazard Fèrers & Company (now Lazard) for four years. In that role, she handled employee relations, onboarding and terminations, recruitment, and policy and procedure development.

Angela earned a BS in hotel, restaurant, travel, and business administration from the University of Massachusetts.
