We didn't just want to be another insurance brokerage; instead we wanted to help people solve problems in an authentic and above all, ethical, way. Founded on the principles of transparency and accountability, we've upheld our commitment to ethical business through decades of growth, change and expansion. For nearly a century, we've proudly built a reputation of trust and integrity with our clients and colleagues.

Gallagher in India
Formed in 2006, Gallagher Center of Excellence (GCoE) supports various divisions of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. by providing fast, reliable and best-in-class services in the areas of underwriting, brokerage and claims, market research, analytics, finance and accounting and more. From being a provider of simple back office and administrative services, GCoE has expanded service offerings to align with the needs of various stakeholders. GCoE's 10,000 professionals in five locations in India — Bengaluru, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Pune and Shimoga — fuse expert knowledge and technology with a drive for excellence to deliver mission-critical services for global staff. Gallagher established a broader footprint in India in 2019 by partnering with Edelweiss Insurance Brokers Ltd., which was entirely acquired in 2021. The rebranded entity Gallagher Insurance Brokers Private Limited is one of the India's leading providers of risk management services, general insurance broking and risk solutions.
The rebrand underscores Gallagher's commitment to innovation and customer excellence in the Indian market. Edelweiss's 16-year legacy of customer-centric service and best-in-class offering, coupled with Gallagher's technical know-how, means that Edelweiss customers will continue to benefit from the highest level of service while gaining access to a larger suite of insurance products and services under the Gallagher brand.
