Rob Clay
Vice President, Client Relations and Commercial Development
Rob Clay joined Gallagher in 2020 as vice president, Client Relations and Commercial Development with a mandate to partner with client organizations to support their integrated talent management needs and foster solutions to help them exceed their goals. Rob assists in addressing the growing business needs in the areas of leadership assessment and development, career transition and executive solutions.
Before joining Gallagher, Rob spent over two decades working for large talent management consulting firms in account executive roles, including Global Knowledge and most recently the Conference Board of Canada's Niagara Institute. He's worked with clients from both the private and public sectors, ranging from financial services, pharma, mining, retail, oil and gas, healthcare, manufacturing and utilities, to all levels of government including agencies, boards and commissions.
A bilingual business development professional, he has an innate ability to connect with people and build trusting and long-lasting relationships. Through active listening and storytelling, Rob has a solid track record in addressing unique client needs and proposing the right solutions to enhance performance.
Away from work, Rob cheers on his kids in their athletic endeavours and volunteers with their clubs and teams. In his spare time, he can be found running around the National Capital Region to recharge his batteries and to train for long-distance races.
