Monica Sue

Monica joined Gallagher in 2018 as a consultant, bringing with her more than 10 years of compensation and total rewards experience.

Before joining Gallagher, Monica led programs with expertise in compensation operations, human resources management system (HRMS) implementation, executive and regulatory compensation and governance, in various industries including retail, financial services, insurance, telecommunications and municipal government.

Monica has experience assisting clients from various industries with their market competitive positioning, program design and administration needs. Monica's primary areas of expertise include the research, implementation and maintenance of sound corporate governance practices; the design of incentive program; the management and co-ordination of complex competitive market compensation reviews for executive, non-executive and board of director positions. She gained strong data management and analytical skills by developing compensation structures for internal and external clients and by analyzing pay equity files for private and public sector organizations.

Monica holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a post-graduate degree in Human Resources from Sheridan College. Monica is a Certified Compensation Practitioner® (CCP) with the WorldatWork Association as well as the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) with the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA).

Monica is actively involved with the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Rewards Association, has served as the assistant secretary of the board of directors and volunteered with various events.
