Jane Mizanski

Jane joined Gallagher in 2013 as a consultant, bringing with her over 30 years of experience in corporate human resources management, including more than 15 years focusing on compensation and benefits. She has worked in the public and non-profit sectors, holding progressively responsible positions in the Ontario Public Service and Broader Public Sector.

Jane brings a combination of professional consulting and hands-on practical experience in job design and evaluation, pay equity and compensation administration. She has a broad range of experience designing and implementing compensation programs, including developing supporting governance policies and salary administration procedures. She led the design and implementation of a flexible benefit program in a large nonprofit organization, and has also designed and implemented performance management programs ensuring alignment to compensation and corporate performance measurement systems.

Jane is an experienced communicator and advises senior management, councils and boards of directors on a variety of compensation issues. She works with clients to develop appropriate communication strategies to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the assignments.

Jane has a strong foundation of experience working with organizations on compensation projects from inception of the compensation strategy, to design, through to implementation and on-going maintenance. Her assignments focus on the municipal and nonprofit sectors, covering both non-union/management and unionized employee groups, conducting job evaluations, committee training and facilitation, employee appeals, and extensive work on custom market surveys.

Jane's primary focus is working with clients in the municipal and broader public sectors.

Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in economics from York University, as well as a post-graduate diploma in business administration from University of Toronto. She's a Certified Compensation Practitioner® (CCP).
