Gallagher has acquired Edgar Insurance Brokers (EIB), expanding further into regional Victoria. The addition of EIB offices in Cobram and Benalla will complement eight other Gallagher offices already within Victoria.
EIB has been providing commercial insurance products and services in regional Victoria since 1947 and has built a loyal client base of rural and farm, hospitality, transport and trade businesses.
This merger partnership is in keeping with Gallagher's global growth strategy. In Australia, this acquisition is Gallagher's fifth for 2023 with the business expanding in regions across Australia from Perth to Darwin, Sunshine Coast to Melbourne.
