This group policy provides basic cover for registered players, coaches, officials and others stated as covered who suffer injuries arising out of participation in sanctioned football competitions and football events that are referred to in the policy.

Cover also extends to:

• Organised training
• Sanctioned state or national events, activities including programs or competitive games within Australia
• Administrative and social activities of the insured Club.

Benefits

1. Capital Benefits — A lump sum benefit for permanent injuries, payable based on a table of events available in the full policy wording.
2. Non-Medicare Medical Benefits — Reimbursement of medical expenses to a maximum of $3,000 — excluding any medical costs covered wholly or partly by Medicare ($200 excess).

Other benefits

Additional benefits available under the Group Personal Injury Insurance policy include expenses that may be incurred as a result of a football injury including:

• Funeral Expenses
• Parents Inconvenience Travel and Accommodation

The Public & Products Liability Insurance group policy provides protection for clubs and associations should something go wrong involving a third party. Claims of personal injury or property damage that a third party suffers (or claims to have suffered) can be incredibly expensive. Even if the club or association is not at fault, your club or association may still incur considerable legal costs defending any claim. Public Liability insurance safeguards your club or association by providing protection against such losses and claims.

"Loss" includes, but is not limited to:

• Damages
• Judgments
• Settlements
• Costs
• Defence Costs

Cover applies to liabilities arising out of, and in connection with, sanctioned rugby competitions and rugby events that are referred to in the policy, and includes all official activities connected with the sport of football including club social, and fundraising activities.

A Loss must arise out of an insured's "Sporting Activities", which under the policy means —

• The activities of a club, association, or other insured entity playing or administering football.
• It includes all official activities connected with the sport including club social and fund raising activities.
• It does not include the activities of a "Licensed Club", which means a commercial premises with a liquor licence used by members and guests. A clubhouse or sports pavilion with a liquor licence will not be deemed a licensed club.
• It includes the hiring or leasing out of club premises to a third party subject to the conditions outlined here.

Policy Limit:

• Public Liability: $20,000,000 any one occurrence
• Product Liability: $20,000,000 any one occurrence and in the aggregate

Excess: $1,000 each and every occurrence
