If your incident is not related to the recent events, please return to the claims page to submit the relevant claim form.

In the event of an incident:

  • Look out for people's safety as a top priority
  • If a danger exists contact the local authorities or the SES on 132 500
  • Complete one of the below claim forms or contact the Gallagher Claims team as soon as possible
  • Take reasonable steps to minimise your loss
  • Record or photograph damage
  • A loss adjuster may assess the damage before clean up begins
  • Do not admit liability as this could prejudice your claim

Emergency assistance

If you require after hours emergency assistance, please call 1800 254 287 and select option two. Our after-hours service provider will be able to assist you with advice, arrange a 'make safe' and if necessary send an adjuster out to help you.

Motor Vehicle Claims

  • If your vehicle is not safe to drive:
    • If not in a safe location already, you should have the vehicle towed to the nearest repairer, towing storage or similar
  • If your vehicle is safe to drive:
    • Unless already done, do not obtain quotes until contacted by your insurer (most repairers will want the Insurers claim number before quoting)
    • If you have more urgent needs, you can make a note on the last page of the claim form and we will contact you as soon as possible
