Gallagher is proud to announce our partnership with the Spear Foundation, a national community and cultural organisation. This agreement supports the Spear Foundation's mission of creating a space for Elders and youngsters to find respect and integration, allowing communities to thrive.

The foundation's values of Culture, Connection, Collaboration and Preparing align with the philosophies and values of Gallagher. We aim to provide support and carve innovative pathways to support Australia's First Nations Peoples and stand united, transcending age and cultural boundaries.

Supporting the Spear Foundation mission

The Spear Foundation is dedicated to empowering communities through education, health and economic development programs. By partnering with the Spear Foundation, we aim to contribute to meaningful and sustainable improvement in the lives of Australia's First Nations Peoples.

We will support the Spear Foundation through insurance broking services and contributions in the ongoing work of three key initiatives, Djeelya Young Women, Everlasting Elders and The Smiling Child. These programs promote leadership, community, equality, culture and respect both within indigenous communities and beyond.

Alignment with our Reconciliation Action Plan

This agreement marks a significant milestone in our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) which outlines our commitment to reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our RAP focuses on four key pillars: Relationships, Respect, Opportunities and Governance. We respect, acknowledge and celebrate the rich diversity and cultures of Australia's First Nations Peoples.
